Gee! I always thought there were too few Gnome illustrations out there. You can never have enough of them. Well, at least not me. But let's get to the core of things.

Colors and atmosphere are brilliant. I like the cold feel of it. Although blues did not strike me as first choice for the WoW Warlock (Affliction, Demonology and Destruction resonate more with greens and reds in my opinion). But that's new, and very thoroughly executed. It has a taste of Arcane to it.

I love the perspective of this piece. It gives a sort of overwhelming feeling. Tons of things/books/apparati to discover. The point of view plays well off of this setup.

Lighting feels also natural — or rather believably unnatural. I like the texture of the wood, the pentagram's outlines and the way the imp's features catch the lighting.

The character also is very iconic. That's probably my most favorite beard. I play Gnomes to the exclusion of everything else — I've dabbled in other races too, but my heart belongs to those little whisker-bearing tinkers. The piercing (or small horns?) are very fitting; as are the tufts of hair. They also enhance that devilish (but cute) look of the Warlock.

There is probably a lot more to talk about. I can feel the love and time that went into the creation of this piece. Great job!

Thanks a lot for the very nice comment! :)

I also enjoyed playing gnomes most.
I had a gnome mage, warlock, warrior and finally a priest :D.

Cool ;) … klingt fast ein wenig seelenverwandt. Ich hab meinen Acc momentan auf Eis gelegt, aber sobald der Mönch rauskommt, kannst Du Dir denken, was ich spielen werd' ;)

Hexer 85, Priester 85, Schurke 85, … Magier ~72, Krieger 30… hach, ich liebe Gnome!

Wait... I do like this picture and all, and I most likely would have added it anyway.... But how the hell did this get added into my favorites?! I've never even seen it!
